Fix Common ProblemsInclude essential details in every request
- A short subject that names the affected feature and result.
- The ZMorning account email of the person experiencing the issue.
- The employer account email when the issue concerns an employee relationship.
- Whether the issue occurred in the manager view, shown as Client in ZMorning, or the employee view, shown as Employee in ZMorning.
- The exact date and local time, including the time zone.
- The page, action, desktop feature, invoice, task, or provider involved.
- The expected result and what happened instead.
- The exact error, warning, or banner text.
- Whether it happened once or can be repeated.
Use a concise request format
Subject: Desktop screenshot missing from one time slot
Account: Employee account email
Employer: Employer account email
When: October 28, 2026, 3:10 PM to 3:20 PM, Asia/Dhaka
Expected: A screenshot in the tracked slot
Observed: The slot contains activity but shows no screenshot
Context: Tracking stopped during that interval; connection appeared available
Use real details for the affected case. Do not include unrelated records merely to make the request longer.
Report a desktop, time, or screenshot issue
Desktop app
Include the running environment
- Desktop app version shown in the app
- Operating system and version
- Whether the app was open, hidden in the tray, or quit
- Whether the computer slept or resumed
- Whether the connection was unavailable
Work context
Identify the affected records
- Employee and employer account emails
- Task selected for the session
- Tracking start and stop times
- Affected ten-minute slots
- Whether time, activity, screenshot, or all records are missing
Report billing, invoice, or integration issues
- Subscription or checkout
- Include the employer account, plan shown, seat quantity, billing period, action attempted, and exact Paddle or ZMorning message. Do not send full card or bank details.
- Invoice amount or coverage
- Include invoice number, employee, employer, billing period, hourly rate and currency shown, tracked duration expected, and the field believed to be wrong.
- Invoice automation warning
- Copy the full banner title and detail, note when it appeared, and say whether the warning persists after the next scheduled check.
- Dropbox or Google Drive connection
- Include the provider, employer account, displayed connected account email, connection status, and whether its Today storage switch was enabled.
- Missing provider file
- Include the employee, capture date and time, expected provider folder, and whether Today shows a provider placeholder or normal preview.
Share screenshots and files safely
- Capture only the page region needed to demonstrate the problem.
- Redact unrelated employee names, emails, messages, customer data, and financial information.
- Hide passwords, verification codes, reset links, tokens, and browser developer credentials completely.
- Prefer copied error text when an image adds no useful context.
- Do not attach workplace screenshots captured by tracking unless they are essential and authorized for support review.
- State the image's date and time so it can be matched to the reported event.
Report an account-security concern
-
Change or reset the password
If access remains available, use Profile to set a new unique password. Otherwise, use Forgot password on the website.
-
Contact ZMorning
Use the Support Center and state that the request concerns unexpected account access or an unrecognized account change.
-
Provide identifiers, not secrets
Include the account email, approximate time, unexpected action, and any relevant confirmation-email subject. Never include the password or code.
-
Protect the connected email account
Because ZMorning recovery uses email, review the security of that mailbox when unauthorized access is suspected.
Follow up without losing context
- Keep replies for the same problem in one conversation when possible.
- State what changed since the previous message.
- Provide new timestamps when the problem repeats.
- Say which troubleshooting steps were completed and what each produced.
- Preserve affected records and desktop data unless support gives a specific removal step.
- Confirm the final result after the issue is resolved.
Frequently asked questions
What are the standard ways to contact ZMorning?
Use the ZMorning Support Center for product and account help. Use the Contact page for sales, pricing, onboarding, plan fit, or rollout questions. For privacy requests, follow the Privacy Policy, which lists on@zmorning.com and the Contact page.
What information should I include in a support request?
Include the affected account email, employer email when relevant, whether the issue occurred in the manager view, shown as Client in ZMorning, or the employee view, shown as Employee in ZMorning, the exact local date and time with time zone, page or desktop version, expected result, observed result, and exact error text.
How quickly will support reply?
ZMorning does not state a response-time promise in this guide. Send a complete request and preserve affected records or local desktop data while waiting for guidance.
Can I send a screenshot?
Yes, when it materially helps and you are authorized to share it. Crop or redact sensitive and unrelated content. Never include a password, verification code, token, reset link, or unnecessary employee screenshot.
Should I attach the pending-tracking file?
Not to an ordinary request. The file can contain authorization data, activity context, and captured screenshot image data. Preserve it locally and wait for specific secure-handling instructions.
What should I send for an invoice or payment problem?
Include the employer, invoice number or billing period, affected fields, and exact message. Never send a full card number, security code, bank credential, or payment-provider token.
Where should I send a privacy or data request?
Review the Privacy Policy, which lists on@zmorning.com and the Contact page. For employer-managed records, begin with the employer when appropriate. Provide the account, employer, record type, dates, and requested action without sending secrets or unrelated records.
