Identity and role
Name, email address, and designation identify the employee and connect the invitation to the correct account.
Team management
A ZMorning team member is more than a name and email address. Their employer relationship also carries role information, work and billing details, task assignments, and individual tracking preferences. Set those details deliberately before the first work session.
Use the manager view, shown as Client in ZMorning, to add employees, monitor activation status, maintain designation and billing information, assign work, and decide which supported tracking options are enabled. Employees activate their own accounts and use the assigned access to work for that employer.
Each stage affects what the employee can see and how their tracked work is interpreted.
Add the employee using the correct email and work details.
The employee follows the email instructions and creates access.
Connect the employee to the tasks they are responsible for.
The employee records work for the selected employer.
Review details, settings, access, and billing changes over time.
Name, email address, and designation identify the employee and connect the invitation to the correct account.
Hourly rate, currency, billing cycle, and weekly contract hours drive cost, earnings, invoice, and productivity calculations.
Task assignments determine which work appears in the employee's desktop task list for this employer.
Screenshot, keyboard-hit-count, and mouse-hit-count settings are stored for each employee–employer relationship.
The employee relationship exists, but the invited email account has not been verified and activated.
The employee has a verified account and can use the employer access available to that account.
Removing a person ends this employer relationship. It does not delete the person's entire ZMorning account.
Use these guides in order when you are adding a new person, then return to the relevant guide when details change.
